05 Aug Case Study: 99 Atoms Explainer Video
Designed to meet the needs of global audiences, the video we edited for 99 atoms, the app had to catch the short attention span of audiences from different walks of life. Besides, being a coming of age event organisation app, its explainer video had to be equally good to appeal to an intelligentsia that is urbane, rich and very tech savvy.
The Explainer Video Film
Considering these needs of the client, we decided to give the video film a very ‘people-centric’ approach that has view worthiness independent of a sales driven push that could put off viewers. This helped the video attain an immediate engagement level. The music was curated specially to incorporate the orchestra’s tune that it originally starts with and move along with the delightful cords of symphony brining in urgency and dynamism even without diverting the viewers.
The cuts have been intentionally kept very crisp and snappy to cater to short attention levels and keep viewers guessing what comes next. Also, relevant after effects were added to include graphics without hampering the other tone of the visuals. Meanwhile the voice over narrates the different features of the app and its advantages. Again a very appealing, global voice tone was chosen to match the overall canvas of the explainer video.
Success of the project
While the overall production worth pleased the clients, the engagement levels that the explainer video brought, made a huge difference in terms of the brand’s communication worth. From pitches to potential investors, they have been able to communicate to everyone seamlessly, over the course of the video film. Having used it extensively on youtube they are greatly pleased with the attentions it has garnered. The clients feel that they biggest takeaway of investing in videos such as these is the fact that people know that the brand has arrived in just a few minutes
